New Spring and Summer colors!!

I´ve been mixing and mixing polymer clay and finally ended up with a lot of bright and pastel colors. What can I do?, pastels are my weekness point!!

.I always like to make the mixes, I really loove it but  this time my fingers needed some time to recover, I think the clay was too hard. (Note to myself: next time I´ll try to heat a bit the clay before start mixing, lol).

They are perfect to make the new pieces for the Spring and Summer collection and I can´t wait to start playing and working with them. I already see beautiful bouquets of flowers everywhere…….  :)

My brand new running shoes!
Here they are, my new (and first) running shoes. I had the chance to try them a couple of weeks ago in a store but they didn’t have my size, so I decided to order them online at the Nike store, and only 5 days later….., here they are!.
But, my excitement is not only motivated by these beautiful (and very comfy) shoes, my excitement is because of what they mean to me.
We have just started the 2012 and start running is one of my “New Year´s Resolutions” (that sounds scary, lol). I’ve never been a very athletic person (although I´m skinny) and I’m very determined to change that. I can’t wait to start but at the same time I’m afraid to not have the strength to keep on when the new year’s excitement turns into winter lazyness ;) . Let´s see what happens……..

A romantic parisian ring has arrived……

Based on the inspirational post of the last week (Romance in Paris) a new Momochas ring has arrived to my shop. It took a bit, but finally it´s here!!. I wanted to use something that was a symbol of love and romance and that´s why I included the rose quartz.

The rose quartz is a stone of unconditional love in all its forms: self-love, family love, platonic love, and romantic love. Rose quartz brings gentleness, forgiveness, compassion, kindness and tolerance.

Besides, the quartz finds its perfect company with the handmade flowers and reflects sweetness and once more,…….looove!!. lol. I´m starting to think that St. Valentine´s day is affecting me more than what I expected!. Well, I hope you´ve liked the theme, and the result of the project, and if you have any suggestion for another one, feel free to leave a comment to this post :)

Poetry, romance, streets made of stone and forgotten stories, the sing of a bird or the nostalgic scent of the flowers at the sunset,……….
This theme will be my main inspiration for the Momochas´ secret project of the week (well, it won´t be so secret since all of you will know the result ;) )

Do you want to take a cup of coffee with me?. I know, I know, this shouldn’t be the proposal that a person who hates coffee should do, but you can serve you anything that you want: a cup of coffee, a tea, a glass of juice…..and I’ll do the same too!. I just want to use the cup of coffee as an invitation to share a bit of Momochas world with you.
